Logan Creek Site Visit 2025

Ben, Dave, and Emilie were on-site this week at Logan Creek, assessing land conditions for an upcoming streambank remediation project.

🏞The project is part of the Riverine Recovery Program, supported by the Australian and Queensland Governments through the jointly funded Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).

📍Located along Logan Creek - about 120 km northeast of Clermont in Central Queensland - the project area spans multiple properties.

🔬This week, our team conducted flora surveys, collected soil samples, and carried out drone-mounted LiDAR mapping to better understand the state of the eroded streambanks and surrounding vegetation communities.

👷‍♀️In the coming months, our land rehabilitation team will develop tailored restoration plans for each site, with on-ground works scheduled to begin later this year.
